Support Social Justice; Buy Fair Trade

Our Mission Committee has partnered with the UCC Equal Exchange program to sell Fair Trade coffee, tea, chocolate and nuts on the first Sunday of each month during Coffee Hour.

The fair trade label means that growers receive a fair price for their products and are able to better support their families than in the past.

Proceeds obtained from these sales will help support a scholarship fund to send a local teen on a future mission trip.

Family Promise and Swiss Church

Our congregation voted to be a Host Church for Family Promise of Green County.  

Family Promise of Green County is part of a national affiliate that responds to the growing need to provide shelter, meals and comprehensive support services to families without homes.  As a Host Church we will provide lodging, breakfast, brown-bag lunch, dinner and hospitality from 6pm to 7am from Sunday to Sunday approximately 4 weeks per year.
